Using Where Materials Used Report

1. When you first enter into the Bill of Materials Where Used option, a Select An Option window appears:

• EXIT – Select EXIT to exit the Where Material Used Report and return to the Inventory menu.
• ALL ITEMS – Select ALL ITEMS to print a bill of materials (BOM) listing for all raw materials items and the finished goods that they can produce.
• ONE ITEM – Select ONE ITEM to print a BOM listing for just the raw material item selected. At the Item field, enter the item group for the item then select the item from the list. Proceed to the next step.

• ITEM MASK – Select ITEM MASK to print a BOM LISTING for a selected group of raw material items based on the item maskA mask is used to conduct a wild card search. Visually a mask is represented by a series of forward slash marks (///), sometimes with a letter, letters, or number(s) preceding it (1/// or AB///). For example, if you enter ////////, this indicates that you want to list all items defined in the system. If you enter in 1//1//1/, this indicates that you want the system to list items that have the digit "1" in those locations. entered. For more information on entering an item mask see Entering a Mask. 2. At the Print Manufactured Standards field, if you enter Y (Y=yes), the system will print the manufactured cost standards associated with the finished goods items specified. If you answer N (N=no), the system will not print the manufactured cost standards on the report.
